Thousands of hectares of vineyards from Taburno to the Telesina valley, from the slopes of the Matese to the Caudina valley.
It is the Sannio that produces half of the Campanian wine, with seven native vines of ancient lineage to dominate: Aglianico, Piedirosso in dialect Per'e palummo, Sciascinoso, also known as "Olivella", red berried, and Falanghina, Fiano , white grape Greek. And the Barbera del Sannio, red berried, which triumphs in Castelvenere, the municipality with the most vineyards in Campania, where the subsoil preserves and hands down characteristic cellars dug into the tuff.
A viticulture with a great history and equally great quality, testified by two DOCS, Sannio and Falanghina del Sannio, by the Aglianico del Taburno DOCG and by the IGP Benevento.
