A minute and a half. As soon as. But so intense, with its irrepressible charge of adrenaline and the strong emotions it offers, that it seems limitless.
A flight of almost a thousand metres, from the 593 meters of the starting point to the 1417 of the arrival, hung with a pulley from a steel cable, which offers the unique sensation of flying. The technical term for this type of cable car is zipline, but the suggestions it offers are best summarized by the definition "flight of the angel".
All the more fascinating, in this case, because it takes place in one of the most beautiful places in Cilento and the entire Peninsula, Trentinara, an ancient panoramic village in the Cilento Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni, just eighteen kilometers from Paestum.
Built on the top of the Cantenna cliff, 606 meters high, the town takes its name, perhaps, from the money with which the soldiers who, in Roman times, were assigned to supervise the aqueduct were paid. But the current layout of the village is that of its medieval configuration, with the added value of the beautiful buildings with characteristic carved stone doors built between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
